Description

The ISU-152 derives it's name from it's armament, which is a single 152 mm 1937/43 ML-20 howitzer. Most ISUs had an additional 12.7 mm DShK heavy machine gun, but certain examples did have this feature. The ISU was used primarily as a long range mobile support howitzer but was also used as a tank destroyer, and required a crew of five men of operated efficiently. The ISU is huge vehicle, measuring 9.18 meters long, 3.7 meters wide,a and 2.48 meters high. It was slow, with a top speed of only 35 km/h, and rather unwieldy. The total weight was 46,748 kilograms and the protection for the crew comprised of heavy plating.
History

The ISU-152 saw extensive usage throughout World War II with the Soviet Red Army, both as a self-propelled support gun and as a tank destroyer.

The ISU-152 appears during Operaion Liberator - Final Show-Down, during the Soviet attack on the bunker in the Sumava Forest, supporting the Red Guards infantrymen.
