The Liptakov-Pilsen Railway Line is a railway line between the village of Liptakov and the city of Pilsen in Czechoslovakia.


A specific area of the line is located in a long tunnel passing through a mountainous region of Bohemia. Further along the line is large country road near the Villa Lhota just outside the village of Lhota.

A German military train commissioned by Gunter von Freiberg to transport Waffen-SS forces to Prague via the Pilsen Armory, at which Freiberg wished to drop off top secret armor design for German tracked vehicles. and reinforce the German garrison there against local uprisings was foiled when Czechs resistance fighters mined the tracks at main tunnel, causing extensive damage and destroying the train on May 3, 1945.
